Not depressed, not happy

I asked God
Does this ever get better

Every second spent in misery
Feels like I'm dying slowly
Losing my breath
My motivation for anything
It was never meant to be easy
Never thought I could hurt so much

But are You even there
So much pain
Where blissful peace should exist
Tell me God
When will this numbness disappear
