“Memories Remain (Never Fading)” – To Papa Ron, We Love You

 A call to go home, he received bright and early one morning

A time too soon for most and all to say goodbye

But a memory remains, that will not quickly fade

How I miss the days of story time

Or the good old days Papa would always say

And we’ll never forget four wheeling as a family through the creek

Papa Ron, you were the best anyone could ask for

And missed dearly you will be

There was never a time that you wouldn’t say the words ‘I love you’

To Grandma, or anyone else that was in our family

And every time you saw your loved ones, you lit up

A loving man, a gentleman, and a funny, laughing one at that

There for everything we did growing up

We all knew you truly cared for those you knew cared for you

Always in our hearts you will remain

With memories that will last a lifetime, they will never fade

And knowing you’re not in pain anymore makes it even better

Papa, you were the best we could ever ask for

Though you will be missed, and we know where you are

Saying goodbye just won’t be quite easy

So I’ll just say I love you, and I’ll see you again on the other side

This will not be a goodbye, but a see you later
