10 Years

 Lost here in the moment

Never looking back

Everything seems frozen

Still so much has passed

It seems just like yesterday

Another cliché 

But I'm still looking for answers

To every question left

In this empty space

I thought this feeling

Would disapate 

So much time

Between you and I

Stories left to never hear

Another word

Won't be said

With that cigarette 

Melting in your hand

That empty look

Lost deep in thought

Wondering where you went

Left this emptiness 

That a healing hand

Could never touch

10 years here and gone

10 years in the making

10 years seems like nothing

When everything is breaking
