And it's haunting

Alone in the night

It's never ending

Alone in this head

It won't shut up

Just looking for a way out

Searching for solutions

To all of these questions 

Stuck in autopilot 

Can't change gears

Can't get this mind off it

Feeling broken

Neglecting everything

Burning away

The best parts of me

Till it seems like

There's nothing left to rebuild 

Ghosts come out to play

Searching for the 

Lost and the dammed 

Waiting for war

Pretending its nowhere to be seen

Playing tricks 

Just to prank 

Trying to break

Just to prove

Power belongs to one

And everyone else 

Is here to lose

Hoping to start a war

That no one sees

Everyone feels

Leaving us beaten and breathless

 Just another day

Another year

Come and gone

Everything stays the same

With a little more hate

While we all float on by 

Passing on a rock

In outer space

It sounds 

A little more jaded

Than it really is

But this time

We're breaking 

All the rules

Just to deal with it

So paint a smile

On your face

Tell the world

We'll be okay

Cause I'm getting tired

Of always being

So fucking tired

Make them believe 

In the end

Show them the war

And bring them

To their knees

We'll paint these smiles

On everything

That we see

 

Cause I'm still fighting

In a raging war

I'm still climbing 

Just to beat the score

Nothing's gonna
